About Me & My Services
I’m a website designer, located in Poole, with over 5 years worth of experience. Within that time, I’ve learned how to effectively create many different types of websites, including: business sites, personal portfolios, E-Commerce stores, blogs and many more. I make custom-coded Wordpress websites that are performance-enhanced and easy for anyone to edit and manage.
Besides website design, I offer many other effective website-related services for my clients. One of these is my post-launch updates service, where I’ll implement updates and changes of any size or kind into your site once it’s live for an affordable hourly rate. This is perfect for customers who have less experience with websites, as managing them post-launch may seem daunting.

When designing websites, I take a UX-heavy approach, meaning I prioritise ensuring the site is easy for anyone to use regardless of their website expertise. Many businesses try too hard to make their website seem ‘fancy’ with weird design decisions that only end up making the site harder to use. If a user is struggling with their site, they’ll simply click off, hence losing that business a valuable customer and conversion. UX is the most important factor for conversions.
In the images provided, you can see a real example of a website I made for a local content writing agency. Not only is this site very easy-to-use due to the effective headings and simple layouts, but I’ve added some uniqueness to it with the handwritten fonts and lined paper background, both matching with the purpose of the website. This is a perfect example of making a website unique and fancy without sacrificing its usability - it’s a win-win for you and the client.

My Development Method
I use custom code to create Wordpress websites (with tools such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and many more) as it’ll provide a faster performance and offer more customisation for your site, as well as lead to easy post-launch management. Many website developers just use a pre-made theme they bought online, which are often terribly built, poorly optimised and won’t be a good fit for your website as they were developed for a completely different type of site.
Using custom code will allow me to implement any feature into your site, regardless of complexity, without using too many plugins. For example, in the images provided, you can see a real example of an E-Commerce marketplace website I made for a client. This site implements many advanced features, including:
