I’m a website designer, located in Poole, with over 5 years worth of experience. When designing websites, I take a UX-heavy approach, meaning I prioritise ensuring the site is easy for anyone to use regardless of their website expertise. Many businesses try too hard to make their website seem ‘fancy’ with weird design decisions that only end up making the site harder to use. If a user is struggling with their site, they’ll simply click off, hence losing that business a valuable customer and conversion. UX is the most important factor for conversions.
In the images provided, you can see a real example of a website I made for a local content writing agency. Not only is this site very easy-to-use due to the effective headings and simple layouts, but I’ve added some uniqueness to it with the handwritten fonts and lined paper background, both matching with the purpose of the website. This is a perfect example of making a website unique and fancy without sacrificing its usability - it’s a win-win for you and the client.

My Development Method
I use custom code to create Wordpress websites (with tools such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and many more) as it’ll provide a faster performance and offer more customisation for your site, as well as lead to easy post-launch management. Many website developers just use a pre-made theme they bought online, which are often terribly built, poorly optimised and won’t be a good fit for your website as they were developed for a completely different type of site.
Using custom code will allow me to implement any feature into your site, regardless of complexity, without using too many plugins. For example, in the images provided, you can see a real example of an E-Commerce marketplace website I made for a client. This site implements many advanced features, including:

Efficient Website Process
Step 1 - Submit The Contact Form
To get started with requesting a website design service, simply complete the short contact form at the bottom of this page. I’ll respond to your request via an email within 4 working hours (8:00 - 20:00), where we’ll schedule a time and method to have a more detailed discussion about your desired website. Contact methods include: email, phone and social media.
Step 2 - Discuss Your Website
We’ll discuss many attributes of your requested website, including its: purposes, pages, features, requirements, design choices and many more. Afterwards, you’ll need to send me the logo and content (text and images) you want to be implemented into the site. I’ll also send you a Stripe checkout link to complete the deposit payment, which is 25% of the total project price.
Step 3 - I Develop Your Website
Upon completing the deposit payment, I’ll begin working on your website the next day. I’ll provide an estimated completion date before work begins. However, please note that any delays on your end (such as taking too long to respond to any request I might have) may result in the completion date being delayed, though I’ll do my best to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Step 4 - Request Revision Rounds
Once I’ve finished your website, I’ll send you a private link to it where you can request rounds of small changes to be made to anything you’re unhappy with. Otherwise, I’ll send you a checkout link to complete the final payment, which is the remaining 75% of the total project price. After that, I’ll help you launch your website and send a download link for all the resources you’ll need.
Step 5 - Launch Your Website
I’ll provide free support and assistance launching your website until it's live. The process of uploading it to the web varies depending on what hosting provider you use (I strongly recommend Hostinger), but it’s usually very quick and easy, and I’ll guide you through each step. Once your site is live, you can always email me with any issues you encounter and I’ll provide free support.

There are 2 parts of the payment process: the initial deposit and the final payment.
The initial deposit is 25% of the total project price whereas the final payment is the remaining 75% of the price. For both payments, I’ll send a link to a Stripe checkout page where you can complete the payment. There’s no deadline for either payment, though I can’t continue the process until the respective payment has been completed.
To ensure client commitment to the project, you’ll need to pay the deposit after the discussion phase and before work on your website officially begins. You can make the final payment after the revision phase once your site is complete.
You should automatically be emailed a receipt for each payment after completing them.
Most of the major credit/debit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express) are accepted.
Furthermore, all of these payment methods are also accepted:

- Apple Pay
- Amazon Pay
- Samsung Pay
- Revolut Pay

Unfortunately, PayPal isn’t an accepted method of payment.
Most of the time, no.
However, there may be some additional charges if:
- You request a completely custom-coded website instead of a Wordpress one.
- You significantly expand the scope of the website as it’s being developed.
- You request more/larger revision rounds than your pricing plan allows.
If any of these criteria are met, you’ll be quoted at my hourly rate of £25/hour for the time it takes me to complete the necessary extra work. Don’t worry though, as I’ll inform you of this beforehand and will provide a rough estimate of how much extra will be charged.
Also, if your website requires certain payment-locked plugins/services to function properly then that will also be added to the total price. However, most websites won’t need these as I always try to use free plugins.
I create custom-coded Wordpress websites, meaning I use tools such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and many more to create a fully custom Wordpress theme (designed from scratch, no templates) which you can make edits and changes to via regular Wordpress. Furthermore, I’ll ensure it’s compatible with any plugins that you need.
If you’re uncomfortable using Wordpress to manage your website, I’ll work with you to find a solution. This may include providing you with free, beginner-friendly support and tutorials on how to use Wordpress, or by creating a completely custom-coded CMS that’s tailor-made for you and your website.

If you don’t have these prepared straight away then don’t worry, as there’s no deadline to provide them by. However, due to my way of designing websites, I can’t begin working on your site until I have these ready.
If you can’t provide any of these then I’ll work with you to find a solution - such as guiding you on how to make them yourself or hiring someone else to do it. Don’t feel intimidated having to create these, you don’t need to be a professional graphic designer or content writer to make effective website content.
Yes, assuming it’s realistic, I can meet a specific deadline you have with my affordable deadline delivery service.
It’ll cost an additional £25/Day for each day quicker than scheduled you want your website completed by. For example, if you want a 5 Page Basic Website (which would normally be scheduled to take 9 days to complete) finished in 5 days, it’ll cost an extra £100.
